Be A Part of A Historic Evening & Enjoy Unique Advertising Opportunities for Your Business!
Plimoth Plantation’s inaugural Living History Award Dinner will take place on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Amelia Peabody Pavilion at Plimoth Plantation. This black tie fundraising event will honor award-winning journalist and author Cokie Roberts. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner menu inspired by the history of New England, along with a lively Q&A led by investigative journalist Walter V. Robinson, known for his leading role on The Boston Globe’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “SpotlightTeam.” Proceeds from the evening will benefit Plimoth Plantation’s educational mission.
Plimoth Plantation is dedicated to telling the history of Plymouth Colony from the perspective of both the Pilgrims and the Native Wampanoag people. This leading institution is recognized across the Nation as a dynamic living history museum—encouraging a new level of understanding of the past and present. Every year this Museum opens its doors to more than 300,000 guests, many of whom are children, educators and parents participating in field trips and other programs. For over 70 years, Plimoth Plantation’s mission of preserving the past for future generations actively extends itself into the contemporary issues and conversations of the world today.
